ModdedZone Return Policy
As all ModdedZone® controllers are hand-made to your specifications, we don’t accept exchange requests. You can either return the product and purchase another one, or send your ModdedZone® controller for upgrades.
You have 14 (fourteen) days from the day of original delivery to return your controller to us. A refund will be issued via the original payment method 2 to 4 business days after your controller has been received at our facility.
As all ModdedZone® controllers are hand-made to your specifications, there is a 10% restocking fee for all non-defective product returns. Original shipping costs, custom printed options and rush delivery will also not be refunded. If your item is defective, the restocking fee will be waived.

Once your return is logged in our system, you will be emailed the ticket number, associated with your request. Using your email address and a ticket number you will be able to create a customer portal and check the status or any details of your return at any time.

Satisfaction is guaranteed on all ModdedZone® Products. We want you to be thrilled, so even though all ModdedZone® controllers are made to order, we accept returns for all our products.
Returning Undamaged or Non-Defective Goods
If you’re not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have 14 days, from the day of delivery, to return your controller to us. As our controllers are hand-made to your specifications, there is a 10% restocking fee for all products returned except the READY TO GO Edition and SMART PRO Edition controllers. The controller must be returned in like-new condition, in original packaging and with all seals intact. If there is any damage or excessive wear to the item, there will be an additional charge, based on the cost of repair or replacement.
The amount refunded is less all shipping costs added at checkout. Return authorization from ModdedZone® must be obtained prior to mailing in any merchandise for repair or return.
Please note that you shall be responsible for any return delivery charges, and the risk of loss or damage to the goods that you are returning until they have been received by us. For your protection, we recommend that you use a traceable delivery service when returning products to ModdedZone.

Once your repair is logged in our system, you will be emailed the ticket number, associated with your repair. You will be able to create a customer portal to track the status or any details of your repair.

Once the controller is being inspected by ModdedZone® technician, an online invoice will be emailed to the address provided in the repair/upgrade request. You will be able to to pay via credit/debit card or your PayPal account.

When you buy a ModdedZone® product, you become a valued, lifelong customer. Your controller will be serviced for as long as you own it. The cost of each out of warranty repair and/or upgrade is determined on a case-by-case basis, but most of our pricing is in line with the cost of the options on the website.
All ModdedZone® controllers come with a 90-day warranty that starts from the date your order is delivered to you.
Customers located in the United States will receive a pre-paid shipping label to be used to send in items for warranty evaluation and repair. The costs of warranty work and standard return shipping to our customers are also included in the coverage of the warranty.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, lightning, power surges, unauthorized product modification, or repairs, excessive wear, which may be determined by inspection upon return. If 90 days isn’t enough, we offer an extended 1 Year MZ warranty and 1 Year Armour warranty (total of 12 months) for purchase with each ModdedZone® controller.
The extended 1 Year MZ warranty covers defective parts, faulty workmanship during the manufacturing process, the modchip functionality and installation. Damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, lightning, power surges, unauthorized modification or repairs, excessive wear (including thumbsticks drift), which can be assessed through inspection at the ModdedZone® workshop, is not included in the 1 Year MZ warranty coverage.
The extended 1 Year Armour warranty covers defective parts, faulty workmanship during the manufacturing process, the modchip functionality and installation, wear and tear and thumbsticks drift (limited to 2 requests a year).
